The only teams I care about winning are ones I have bet on that week now that the Steelers are eliminated from the playoffs.
The only game I bet this week is the Eagles giving 2.5 points to the Saints. I think that is the best bet this week by far IMO.

actually based on the numbers green bay is the best bet by far...72% of the bets are on the niners....thats almost an automatic go with the pack...usually a rule of thumb i have is 75 or above go with the opposite

Thanks for your information and it probably makes a lot of sense or you wouldn't use it. I put IMO on the post because the bets I make are not based on stats or on how many people are betting on which team. It is simply my opinion based on what I have seen and what my gut and mind tell me is the right bet. I have been doing it this way for well over 35 years and it works for me. I've won over 2/3rd of my bets. I wish it were more wins vs losses but it is what it is and so far so good. But again thanks for sharing your method and I hope we both place as many bets as we want for the playoffs and both win a high percentage of our bets. I have a feeling we both would be glad not to bet the playoffs at all if we could still have our Steelers playing.

I predict that our Steelers should be in the playoffs ...deserving or not, we should be there.

    Me too!

I usually don't try to pick these PO games. But for some reason this year I like some games.

If the Bengals don't choke away the Charger game they will go to NE. As hard as it is to beat them and the officials up there I believe they do it. Not only do they play well up there but since NE stole that game from Cleveland [not the Pats fault the zebras were either senile or inept in that one] then I think this game would be in Cin. Got a hunch the league knows this.

Not that I could give a hoot about the fortunes of the Bengals but my sense of fair play would like to see that happen.

SF at GB. Frisco wins there. Another tough place to win but GB is sort of lucky to be there and I think their luck runs out here.

NO at PHI. Not sure but NO was like 8-0 or 7-1 at home and nearly the opposite on the road. I expect this continues and the Eagles manage to win this one.

KC at IND. No interest in this one.

I recently signed up here and don't post very often, but I have been reading this board quite a bit this season. It is interesting. I did notice that some of the posters were from that former steeler.com board.

KC at Colts--KC is rested and healthy, the Colts struggle on offensive at times so my pick is pick Kansas City.

SD at Cincy--Dalton is hot and cold, not a consistant QB. Rivers is having a good year and if I remember right, SD is a good road team so my pick is the Chargers.

NO at Philly--NO is a poor road team and playing outside in the frigid weather should slow them down some. The Eagles are playing at a high level with their star QB, so my pick is Philly at home.

SF at GB--These two teams are pretty evenly matched, Rogers is a great QB and is used to big games, SF has to travel cross country and not used to frigid weather, so my pick is GB in a close game.

Man, I didn't make a pick, but I didn't see the Chiefs coming out so strong today.
    Welcome aboard, Chainmover.

Hmm! Both KC and Philly sure do work hard at finding ways to lose games. Oh well! At least KC beat the spread.

I did not see the 2nd half of the Eagle's game. At the end of the 1st half I thought the Eagles carelessly donated 3 pts to the Saints. Someone said that those 3pts would cost the Eagles the game. Guess they were right.

Almost everyone took the Colts. And they won.

Today I stay with Cinci and SF. Bpth are favored however and do have some points to cover.

Let's see what happens today and then we will go on into next week.

The Chargers has Denver's number, they held Denver to their lowest point out put twice this year and beat them in their last game, and it's no wonder since their head coach Mike McCoy was Denver's OC and wrote their play book, this will be the biggest upset in the playoffs, my upset pick, another 6 seed goes wild...

Broncos are 10 point favorites and I think they handle the Chargers fairly easy. Broncos
Seahawks are 8 point favorites and that should be about right against the Saints. Seahawks
New England is 7.5 point favorite and I think that should make the game close. New England
San Francisco is 1 point favorite I don't see them winning against Carolina. Carolina
