First of what I hope will be many Steeler games for Najee. How many yards do you think he'll get in his opener?

I'll go 103 and 1 TD.

I don't expect a "thumper" td. By that I mean 2 yards or so out.

I like najee but I really hope I'm proven wrong in that I don't think there will be a ton of 15/25 yard tds.

 

Everybody else being way too optimistic. Buffalo defense is pretty good.

 

What's your pessimistic take so we can criticize?

The optimism I have for this young man is off the charts, but he needs help.

 

I see your worried about his first real game in NFL. To be honest I never heard of the guy until we drafted him. I went back and watched his NCAA highlights and IMO he is the real deal and barring serious injury he'll be the real deal for years to come.

Although I can see your point of first game jitters or you think the O-line will get eaten for lunch by Bills front 7.

Lol, just talking smack . I honestly don't have a clue on what he is going to do behind this OL. The range of possibilities is huge. Bills D were mediocre against the run last year. I agree with earlier poster that it will depend a lot on what happens the first couple of drives. If they come out and can't move the ball on the ground early and the Bills O does what we know they are capable of, then the steelers could be in a hole quick and Harris won't be getting as many touches in the backfield. This first game will really tell a lot about the OL. I'm taking a wait and see approach but won't be surprised if the run game continues to be a weak point for the steelers. It has been a trademark for Tomlin's squads, especially with Ben under center. Well, by under center, I mean 6 yards behind center, lol.
