Bucs, Chefs, Titans & Panthers. Good lineup but will look a lot like the AAF games. Shouldn't this thread be re-titled "The Mason Rudolph/James Washington Season"?

It's gonna be weird not seeing Landry suck it up in the preseason this year.. That was one of the yearly traditions we had

The Browns will go 4-0 and claim victory in the North while ripping the freshly minted Bill Bilicheck trophy from Goodells hand while the city Cleveland celebrates in flames and lights the river on fire.

Preseason is mostly for evaluating talent but now that AB is on the West Coast we can look forward to his live tweets about our team starting with the preseason games in early August. YAY.

    This will almost certainly happen.

Then they’ll go 5-10 and sack their HC.

Is it written somewhere in the rule book that the Steelers have to play the Panthers in their final preseason game? (Teresa Varley mentioned this is the 17th consecutive year.)

The Steelers and Panthers decide that.

There is some owner relationship/friendship that I posted last year, but I can’t remember exactly.

I'm in Charlotte. I might try to catch the Panthers game. Of course it isn't like it would be a "game". No starters. Only scrubs playing.

Could it be because of all the (Pitt) Panther memorabilia adorning the hallways at Heinz field that makes Carolina feel right at home when in the Burgh? When down that way, all they've got are the East Carolina Pirates for familiarity but that's about it. It's not even a matter of geography like MLB Spring Training. Don't see how a handshake between team owners could overrule the Almighty NFL Schedule Makers.

Once nice thing about Pre-season games if your a season ticket holder, you get to enjoy warm weather and tailgate, and talk about how it sucks paying such crazy prices to watch 3-4th strings battle it out for an NFL spot.

There was a leak of the Browns schedule on twitter, if it's real the Steelers play the Browns at home in week 4.

Probably because Steeler fans fill up the stadium in Charlotte. Ive been there a few times. Charlotte is full of PA, WV and OH transplants. There is a huge Steeler following in Charlotte.

Hopefully, there is lots of 1 and 4 pm games so I can take my kids more this year.

I would also imagine our Thursday game will be a road game this year, since we had it home last year.

I would also not be shocked to see us playing the Browns at either home or away in a prime time slot.

Just paid my taxes and my season tickets are due May 1. This is a bad time of the year for cash flow.
