True, but it is preseason, where only bad things (injuries) can happen to players that you know will be ready (Ben). I'd bring in another kicker and play Boswell as often as you play Ben. 3rd game for a half or so.

I agree with what Tomlin's doing. But he's not playing these guys for fear that they will get hurt.
So I'm just poking fun at his I don't live in my fears, comment that he makes.

I think Dirty Red might be working his way towards a helmet. He has a nose for the ball is really knows the game. It seems like he has the play read before it is even fully developed. I'm not talking just on the team but actually getting a helmet on game day. Of all the backups he has by far looked the best to me. I need to watch him on specials though I haven't done that yet. I like this kid a lot and actually don't think he would make it to our PS if we did cut him.

I just watched the Eagles game sat morning and agree with you. It was a limited snap performance but he made the most of those snaps.
