time to adjust the practice squad.

we have 5 DB's, plus sutton waiting to come back in 4 games.

    3 WR's
    3 LB'ers
    2 O-linemen
    1 FB
    1 RB.

    why are we hoarding DB's?

ward should be the RB moved up until we get patterson and warren back. he's the more experienced RB.

we need to add a couple of o-linemen.( which we will probably do once daniels goes to IR and then released. if we aren't going to bring him back anyway. we do need to add onto the practice squad though.

we may need to add another RB in case as well.

Seems like there’s always extra CB’s. Could just be imagining though?

Max Scharping is a huge guard at 6'6", 330 lbs. He does have 33 NFL starts mostly with Tampa Bay, he was their second round draft pick in 2019.

After these moves their are 2 spots open on the 53 Man roster.

surprised by Rush, but he had been inactive for the last 2 weeks with the signing of James Piere.

Also sad to see the only FB on the team, Jack Colletto be released. I have always wanted to what what Najee could do running behind a FB .

This..I know training camp news is just that, but some guys on different podcasts were high on what they saw in camp from seeing the possibilities. Also stated it would be difficult to see a FB on the 53 if they kept 3 TE's and Conner, so they went that direction.

I agree it seems like they need to change up the running scheme to better suit Najee or better yet go throw first/play action early which can include Najee getting the ball in space where he has been more effective. If the D backs off then see if they can get the run game going.

Arthur Smith needs to do something to keep teams from stacking the box, and if they are stop trying to run it on first down .

A few of us knew b4 season began , opposing teams were going to put 8 in the box. Qb needs to keep them honest.

Maybe test them downfield early a few times.... I think Fields has earned enough leeway to be able to pass to open up the run instead of the other way around. He's been playing quite well.

This is concerning now we know why they keep running into a stacked box on first downs .

I'm surprised you don't know the mantra of @S.T.D@S.T.D You can never have enough corners!

That's strange because on the two games before that.....I can show Him doing checks, and changing things. Did they just shut him doing it down during the Indy game??? Because I don't remember any in that game??

That could be what he's saying publicly. He doesn't get into any crap that way. "I just do what coach tells me to."

Just guessing but at this point he can check blocking assignments but for him to change from a run play to a pass might be a bit much for him with a new offense. That is what they did with Ben in the beginning.

That’s the crap line Ben would use whenever he had a bad game.

When he had a good game he took the credit.

    But that was Ben.

I would have sworn that I seen Him change from a pass to a run.....a couple times in the Chargers game. I even brought it up on the game thread. Hell it may have been the Broncos, but I thought it was the Chargers I seen it in.
