In relations to this possible dead end, cannot read too much into it in all honesty. Sure, Mike Tomlin may want to address Corner and EDGE early but how early remains anyone's guess. If they are going to address Corner though... it might have to be with either pick 17 or either 32/49. One aspect is critical is the fact that the Steelers DESPERATELY need another EDGE. TJ Watt and Alex Highsmith both CANNOT be ran into the ground again. For that matter, it was a miracle that Highsmith endured all that last season. I would not be pinning my hopes again for a repeat performance.

They are going to let him walk. That's why everyone showed up for Will Macdonald's pro day. If he is there at 32, He will be the pick.

I expect a corner at 17. Gonzalez, Winterspoon or Porter or Banks. And then Will McDonald at 32.

That is what is so funny now, Moore makes Chuks look good at tackle, but that doesn't make Chuks a good tackle in this league. People are acting like Chuks is a top 10 RT in this league and he is not even close to that.

Crazy thing is if they can improve this O-Line in the draft they could build this team around Najee. 17 game season with a healthy Najee and a rebuilt line could see a 2,000 yard back come out of Pittsburgh. :)

It is amazing how a good running game can improve a defense!

I remember people saying there was some power struggle before last year's draft as well. I just think there's always going to be some difference of opinion between scouts, gm and coaches. It's kinda natural to have different camps in this stage of the game. Probably where the BPA from the comprised big board comes into play.

Chuks is far more of a quality RT than Moore would ever be as a starting LT. All I presented was an idea.

I get the thinking, but Khan has been in the organization for a long time. He and Tomlin already had a relationship. I'd be surprised if Tomlin wasn't at least part of the process of choosing him for the role.
