I thought some of you could use this.

If only I knew how to make a poll we could survey TSF to see whose is to blame for the 3rd quarter. Was it Tomlin, the refs, Brown, Ben, Bell, Dupree, Shazier, Boz, Defense, Offense, special teams?

Alas, this win will mean nothing if they...

Penalties were aggravating. AB meltdown was a bummer. Bens deep ball is awful.

It's simple they went conservative and predictable on O. Their first drive was beautiful mixing up packages and personnel... Rest of the way they went what they've done thus far this season... Played predictable. The D played very well today and it was nice to see.

Bingo. We can't have this stuff every week or it's going to cost us games. AB needs to grow up. I'm tired of that crap

AB was wide open and Ben didn't see him. AB also yelled at some of the coaching staff right after the cooler drop.

I agree with all of that. The AB over reaction was pretty ridiculous. I want him to play with passion, but not to act like a 4 year old.

That call on the AB "pick"

Ben missing AB for easy TD

Ben missing Bryant for easy TD

    = Who cares, we won?

Not too much to complain about. Red zone is an issue. Although, to be fair it’s been an issue for Ben’s entire career. Bell running out of bounds late in the 4th was stupid, but turned out to be a non issue. Penalties need to get ironed out. They’re uncharacteristicly high for the Steelers so I believe we will get it sorted.no matter what we beat the ravens at home by 17. All in all it was a good day.

    Happy Sunday everyone.

The one complaint that I have is that AB was ignored for most of the day. I know they were trying to get Bell going, but at Brown's expense? Come on. I can understand his frustration. The thing with the water cooler was a culmination of things, not the result of one play.

We struggle consistently against the easy teams...we're gonna get blowed out against the good teams.
We have too many weapons on offense to struggle like we have ..so far this season.
Its mindboggling to see how hard it is to get to the redzone and then have to settle for a fg/missed fg/blocked fg

Yeah I was a bit frustrated with the balance.... as I posted in another thread, they had 30 passing attempts and bell alone got 35 touches. I think there was one PA maybe? Anyone else surprised by the seeming lack of balance or did they think Baltimore's DL was a weak spot?

How can we - 1st win in 5 years in Crabcakeville. I'm thrilled. Do you think they might have complaints in Dallas and New England where their beloved Home Teams (aka America's Teams) lost? Scoreboard! :dancing:

Well how many of those run attempts were when we were running the game out and going in Baltimore had 2 starters on the DL out for the game. So if there ever was a game to run on them this was it...

Game should have been a blowout and we are biting our nails in the 4th. Looks like your typical Tomlin team. Losing to inferior teams and trying to give games away. I'm not going to be happy until I see otherwise. Ravens aren't even good. Defense is going to be a problem in a year or two. But their offense blows. No playmakers.

I just want to say that the D played pretty well albeit against a pretty poor offense. We need to start seeing more from Vince Williams....his strength is supposed to be downhill thumper but to me he seems to be out of position quite a bit...
