I was warning Steelers fans not to take the Colts lightly, all that talk about going 4-0 one game at a time.

The defense was embarrassing and responsible. End of thread. Nothing else matters. Miracle that the Justin and offense even got back in the game and had a chance.

Steeler apology radio network will continue to blame everything but the awful defense - led by coach Mikey T

My eyes are now injured after seeing each rushing attempt by Najee!

For that matter though, what Arthur Smith wants in a Running Back is simply not what Najee is. Example?! Tyler Allgeier is very fast and very explosive. Bijan is obviously a unicorn... so we can place him in his own separate class.

    1. Colts were terrible against the run and we want to run first
    2. Our D had been pretty dominant.
    3. Colts starting center down
    4. Possible concern Steelers looking ahead to Dallas night game next week.

Now you ask that but also wrote you cautioned Steelers fans to not take colts lightly.

Why would they be looking ahead to Dallas when the Colts kicked their ass last season?

I don't think people here really know what a "trap game" means. It's supposed to be a game coming off a big emotional win and prior to a game which is very important in the standings like a division rival. Neither of those apply to this Colts game.

Some fans here seem to think there is this big rivalry between us and the Cowboys. There isn't.

Hell, even Benny Snell had more explosiveness than Najee. Even the 32 year old Patterson makes Najee look slow. Najee is strong as an ox, but that was the worst performance I've even seen from a Steelers running back

And Taylor got injured early on, but they were never able to take advantage of that

    Twilight Franco Harris even?!

God bless his soul but I heard that was quite difficult to even look at.

I’ve been critical of Najee but was it just as much on our line but then again Patterso. Was looking good until he went down. Btw what was his injury?

I dont think so with Fields. His fumble was an ugly play, but he was far from the reason this team lost. I actually thought he played fairly well. Pickens with a bad fumble at the 5, another 15 yard penalty that stalled the drive in enemy territory, a dropped pick by Porter that would've stopped points, a missed sack that allowed the Colts to pick up a crucial 3rd down on the next play and get points by Heyward, we didn't recover the strip by Elliott, the premature snap by Frazier. We simply just botched too many plays. I think Fields' comeback was one of the bright spots of the day. He's playing pretty well. I just wish we would open the book up earlier in the game and come out a bit faster. We seem to REALLY want to drag a clock control game out from snap 1... but every time we open things up for Fields, he's done well with it. Not sure why we don't come out chucking the ball downfield a bit more.

The snap was 100% on Frazier, as McCormick had his head back looking at Fields, the rest of the line wasn't ready, etc. That is twice now that I think he snapped a ball prematurely and was his fault. He's been great so far, and hard to dog him for a rookie mistake... but that can't happen, especially on the most crucial drive of the game. First and 10 past our own 40 and driving. I firmly believe if that doesn't happen we head to OT. The moral of the story is... CLEAN IT UP. If we don't beat ourselves this game, we very easily walk out of there with a win.

So for the fourth time now; I am not advocating for Fields on the bench.

I am saying that Tomlin isn't likely to name Fields the starter after today. That is it. Nothing else, nothing more.

The right guard looks back after QB lifts legs then taps center on leg for snap.
This is how Steelers go on silent count.

This has been painfully obvious from long before the season even started, and Khan is the one who's allowed it to continue.

This is not a 4-0 caliber team. The defense was very disappointing today that was the one aspect I thought could be special. Loss of Highsmith the difference??

Hard to comprehend how harris had only 1.5 per carry when the colts defense is a walk through against the run.
