Thanks. With C. Brown being out for the year do we have enough depth at CB and special teams? We can easily take Dunn from them just as easy as we took their souls yesterday. I also heard Arnfelt might be a candidate to come up to give us some depth on the DL with Big Steve out. I could use me a little Arnfelt. Thoughts?

Personally, I think they will likely bring up Isaiah Green again, and possibly add another CB to the PS. I'd be a little surprised if they brought up Arnfelt, but that is a possibility.

I think there is probably zero chance they sign Dunn off the Clown squad, as they could have brought him back as a FA at any time but chose not to.

    I have 2 complaints:
1- Ike, to me, didn't give an all-out effort
2- Jarvis, if I see him take another SUPER MEGA wide turn to the QB I'm going to break my TV. I think every single LT in the league has a very easy time guarding him. Just kinda guide him to the outside and he will take himself out of the play. No chance to get to the QB. He has no spin move, no bull rush, no inside swim, NOTHING!!!!!!

I've noticed the same thing and I'm a little concerned. Where is the sack machine that tore up the SEC the last two years???

I just thought his pass rushing abilities would have flashed more by this point.

I gotta say, when I watched his college tape, I thought his pass rush was overrated. Not that he was bad, just that he didn't seem to be physically dominating guys much, the way you'd expect a sack leader to do. A lot of his sacks came from good coverage, or luck, or bad competition. That said, I think he has good instincts to the quarterback, and that counts for a lot. Not everybody has that. Good balance, too. And he has time to grow in the strength/repertoire department.

And, I have seen him flash a good bull rush. He got a good one on Joe Thomas on the same play as Cam Heyward's sack. He had a good one on D'Brickashaw that lead to a pick. Two great pass protectors. And he has good quickness. And he can blitz from multiple spots. And I think he'll be a complete player. Run defense from our OLBs goes unnoticed, but it's crucial. Plus, Jarvis likes to go for the ball, which not everybody can/does. I think he's got all the tools.

Jason Worilds is light years better than he was as a rookie, and no offense to Jason, but Jarvis has better tools to work with than him. I don't ever expect to see James Harrison production as a pass rusher from Jarvis, but I can see him being a 10 sacks per year guy.

I'm thinking that when he used that in college, he was able to get the sack because most college QB's would not step up into the pocket and would drop right into his lane.

Also, it looked like at times college tackles would give ground backwards while he was swinging wide, which made it not look as bad.

Would love to see a good swim or shoulder dip from him. Maybe a wide rush, but not go as deep as he does. I think he can sell it a few times.

Jarvis Jones needs some serious time in the weight room.
