The way I see it, Haley did his part. There were plenty of opportunities on the offensive side of the ball, created by Haley, for Ben and those other 10 guys to not take advantage of.

How would you feel if he came out and said, "If you all review the film, then you will see several opportunities that Haley and I have created that the players simply lack the capacity to take advantage of, week in, and week out."?

    :lolol: :lolol:

This game was a flashback of the 2006 game where we knocked the Bengals out except the roles were reversed. This offense didn't want it this year.

They can't afford to pay Brown, Brown money...

Yeah, him being the best RB shouldn't even factor in...

    Yeah, as a backup.

    Idk on these.

Defense is not even a problem, right now. Today's game is evidence. LeBeau has his house in order.

    I agree here.

I really don't feel like our D is as good as some of you guys are saying. I think our linebackers played solid today and our front got some push but our corners are abysmal. Yes Allen had some picks but we gave up 270 yds passing and here's the deal AS A WHOLE for this SEASON. Great D's GET OFF THE FIELD. Look at our game against SD. We DIDN'T get off the field. I will say this though, I think Lebeau is much better at adjusting to situations than Tomlin is. At the first of this season we all wanted Lebeau gone and the D thrown under the bus and it was our Offense that was playing better. Where was the turning point?

I'm glad the suffering is over. We have a TON of work to do in the off season.

Another complaint I have is that I honestly feel like we are a talented team. I feel that we are MORE talented than the Seahawks. However I just watched them pound it down the field in the pouring rain and score like it was nothing. Why in the ever loving crap can we not do that???!!!! That team has SO much heart!

270 yards isn't exactly anything to write home about bud. The defense essentially gave up 3 points today. I think the defense played great second half of the season.

Well it's just the WAY we gave up the yards. I just don't like how far "off" we play. You know how bad I want a shutdown corner though.

Yeah it's really starting to annoy me too! It's just SO dang predictable. I wouldn't mind it as much if we could get some good psitive yardage on 1st and 2nd and then put us in much more managable situations. I don't think Haley LIKES the empty backfield on 3rd but we obviously have to pass it in those long yardage cases. If our line can get on the field and stay there I think we might have a more productive run game. Also Tomlin is gonna HAVE to settle on a RB!

The defense got the Chargers off the field. The offense couldn't do anything to offer scoring support until the 2nd half of the game. The problems with this team have generally been the inconsistent play of the offense. The offense resembles the inconsistent play of the QB.

Didn't the Chargers hold the ball for almost the whole 3rd quarter? Tomlin said after the game that he didn't go for 2 on a TD because the D hadn't been able to stop them all day and he didn't wanna give that play away basically. So according to Tomlin we couldn't stop them.

Dude Vernon Davis just got ROCKED! That was a stupid penalty too. Looked to me like he went for the shoulderpads but if you hit someone hard you're gonna get a flag ya know.

Tomlin made a lot of bone headed decisions that cost them games this season. Cowher was a careful game manager to a fault. He was maddingly conservative when you just wanted him to roll the dice alittle yet Tomlin makes risky decisions and can't seem to competently manage close games.

I dont think we can bash DeCastro too much, the kid blew out a knee in preseason and wasnt even going to play this season. He is only playing because we needed him to and he has placed his career on the line to play. I agree he isnt 100% and has been blown up at times but the kid will be a good lineman and this will only be a positive in years to come....so give the kid a break, at least for now.

The last time this team won they were being led by a 3rd string QB who is 38 years old.

Thank You! I've been saying his for a few years now and no one likes to acknowledge this glaring weakness and how it directly affects our games and is one of the main reasons this team has been so inconsistent for a while now. You can't expect to execute at a high level with below average football IQ. Maybe when Ben JRs tutor is teaching him about football Ben can pick up a few pointers for himself. The whole team needs to go back to basics and fundamentals. Like I always say at work"Smart people need to help the stupid people"
