Lets cut ties right now! Put Legs in at center and put Pouncy at guard. I'd tell Pouncy sorry pal your a probowler but the team needs your talent here until we can right this ship.

 

As I agree with your assessment, I still believe if we had a back with a little more speed he would have had better runs. I think it may be something we look at in the draft. A back with power and speed.

Even though it looks bleak that Mendenhall will be back, I think we need to give him a shot during these last few games.

 

When was the last time we tried to run outside, with a running back?

We haven't because we don't have the running back with the speed to get outside.

 

We have a back with more speed. Just need to use him. Why on 3rd and 1 do we send dwyre and redman to the line to start dancing. Why not slant to the outside and turn it up when you see a yard?

My observations-

1.
The backs line up really far off the LOS especially in short yardage situations

2.
Dont put a guy back there tpo return punts. Every attempted return this year has included a penalty anyways-so less time to hold.

3.
Defense cant get turnovers. Rankings dont mean squat without getting turnovers.

4.
This team has their head everywhere but where it needs to be. Very talented team, and a team that any given week can lay an egg.

5.
Seems weird the Steelers get quick whistles like on Richardsons possible fumble or the other QB's possible fumbles when they are on defense- but that is not the case when they have the ball - they will take it upstairs and make sure there is definate proof.

 

I'm absolutely sick..... we got beat in pretty much every stage of the game...... even sicker after seeing that the ravens and bengals both lost...... we blew a huge opportunity
