Positives....Negatives

Going forward, just a couple things.

There are some really good positives that makes me feel comfortable as a Steelers fan.


POSITIVES

1. 1st seed!?!?!? omg it's the end of the world that we blew it! Nah, both superbowls Tomlin went to was as a 2nd seed.

2. JUJU and Bryant are balling. Ben is balling. Perfect time for rhythm.

3. Vance Glassdonald, Marcus Gilbert, Haden making their way back.

4. Front four provided pressure, back end can somewhat hold their own in man vs our nemesis. Linebackers should get better with reps.

5. Adversity, this team keeps overcoming it, even despite the loss on Sunday. Losing might just fire up the team.


NEGATIVES

1. Both times we went to the superbowl was because... Pats weren't in the way.... just sayin lol. Also 28 ppg at home vs 21 away.

2. Ben blaming haley for that last play... cmon man lol. Also we need Brown back for the playoffs, I say 50/50...

3. can glass not get hurt? can gilbert stay off the peds? Does haden's leg hold up?

4. Still can't cover gronk. Not sure if our defense is up to the task of taking over when it truly needs to without shaz.

5. Losing to pats can get in their head, if there is a rematch the puckering will be so tight Tomlin will turn white.

 

I'm more worried about Jacksonville than New England. Jags will probably win out, which means the Steelers MUST take care of business vs. Texans and Browns.

 

yup lot of teams to worry about, not just the glorious magnificent GOAT qb/coach combo lol

Actually I would not mind ending the Jags season. I really don't want to play the Ravens again.

 

I`m not worried about Houston or Brownies. We are #2 seed unless Buffalo or Jets provide a miracle win over Cheats. Jags will not lose in the 1st round, so we will be hosting them before heading to NE. This is almost certain.

 

Plus Steelers have a Boogieman Jr brewing with Jags - Jag's have stopped Steelers several times on home turf over the years. Time to begin reversing the tide one nemesis at a time.

 

You surprise me BigBenHotMess being able to find so many positives - but.....I agree with every one of them. So.....

 

I think there is a lot more positive than negative. Biggest negative is obviously Brown, which was called a contusion today.

Positives all around.

This team is RESILIENT.
We finally kept up with the Pats.
We have a shot at a bye.
The pats have to play two hostile teams to keep the #1.
We play teams with a combined 4 wins.
The jags play a team on a streak and a team that has beaten them.
We feel how Brady felt last year after being suspended for four games - screwed.
We are PISSED.

 

Positives if James holds onto that TD that's 31 points and a win over the Patriots without AB, the Pats had no answer for Bell.

 

Bill Walsh and Joe Montana are back???
