Position Coaches

It's only really at this time of year you hear coaches do interviews. I enjoy it enormously, this year particularly because of John Mitchell's honesty but it's great to hear Carnell Lake speak and the wisdom of Butler.

The WR coach interests me particularly his team ethos.

 

I don't know if I'm reading too much into it, but I heard Coach Mann be very optimistic about Martavis Bryant, and what he saw out of Markus Wheaton. He looks forward to Lance Moore....but did not have much to say about Justin Brown and Derek Moye. He sounded like "we finally got the guy to go on the other side", as if the two tall guys already here weren't cutting it.

It would be unfortunate, but we shall see in camp.

He pretty much gave the old-school grandpa speech- Oh, we're going to show him what to do", "He will become a better blocker", without adding "OR ELSE!"

 

I watched the Shazier presser and Tuitt's and liked what I took away from hearing Coach Mitchell talk about the Dline.
