At the beginning of the game last night they showed Ben. I thought he had a flack jacket on. Then I realized he wasn't playing and didn't have pads on. Somehow I would think a franchise QB would be more lean and muscular? Maybe that's just his genes? But he looked portly.

Although, Dan Fouts always looked more so.

You're just trying to buck the trend where someone says Ben looks fit this year!

Quit your body shaming, JEH! :lolol:

Ben has sported an extra chin for many seasons. I think he wears it pretty well.

Hey, I have mirrors, I know portly when I see it.

I'm also not real big, but I make up for it by being slow.

You know once you have that third kid and get near 40 the body starts to go a bit plus you don't have to worry about looking like Harrison or Shazier since you put 3 kids in her already and she isn't leaving you now. Its time for that down payment on the foundation of one's barely and hopps repository:drinks:

Dan was a bigger guy, but he never looked as chubby as Ben did last night, not even now.

Yeah its be nice if Ben dropped 10 to 15, but it's never really impacted his play too much.

Not called Big Ben for nothing.

Typical past 35 Dad bod. It doesn't spell well for him when he's pushing 50 if he doesn't adjust his habits, but it's fine now. And some people will just naturally carry more weight.

John Elway always seemed a bit thick to me towards the end of his career. Didn't seem to faze his play.

Speaking of portly, Hines looks like he hasn't missed to many meals lately either.

Jay Cutler at his Dolphins press conference said he's a QB he doesn't have to be in great shape, same goes for Ben.

Which is weird because for a while I thought about sending him money like one of those kids from the commercials about 3rd world countries.

Actually I think it was when he was trying to like run a marathon or ride a bike in a race or something like that.

Yep he did. If I remember correctly he said the training was some of the most intense of his life and much different than getting ready for football.
