I feel pretty good about this game. I think they know that they will see a ton of AP and should be prepared for it. They did a decent job on CJ. Im not too worried about Ponder .....maybe I should be

    Ponders likely to miss game

Has a rib injury, Matt Cassel would start in his place. Not sure if that better or worse :hmmm:

Would rather have Ponder. Cassel played us pretty good when he was in KC.

Having Cassel in there will help to an extent, but AP can still beat us all by himself.

I hope DL doesn't try the strategy he used against Tebow.

Here he will sell out to stop AP and Cassel touches us.

Last I heard it was still likely that Ponder played. However, the fact that the Vikes are 0-3 and there really hasn't been any word of Cassel taking over (other than for injury) tells me that he's not any better.

Heck in the second half against Tennessee, our D made Locker look like a hall of famer, especially in the fourth, so does it really matter who QB's the Vikings this week...Ponder or Cassell? Either guy will probably light up our weak-ass secondary and lack of pass rush up!

He threw for a 125 yards and no TD's. That's one suck ass HOF you got there.

They've been making golden boys out of hack (no offense meant hack) qb's for awhile now... Especially on 3rd and long.

They average 27ppg. We average 14. I'm sure both qb's are licking their chops knowing that our corners will be playing 5 yards off the receiver and the middle of the field will be wide open and AP will be able to rush it straight up the middle because we can't seem to hit our gaps and stop the run like we used to. I REALLY hope what I just listed doesn't happen this week.

What was the overall rushing stats for that game out of curiosity? I remember at one point there was like 11 or 12 straight running plays and ate up a lot of clock.

112 yards total, held Johnson to 70 of them. We've held every big wr and rb to under a 100 yards this season.

Living in MN I am very familiar with the VIkings woes and even thought they are 0-3 they have been just as snake-bitten as the Steelers. Their loss to the Bears they went prevent way to early and the Bears just marched it down till they could lop shots at the endzone for the win. Hoyer was efficient against them last week because Thomas nullified Jared Allen completely but they also caught them napping with trick plays. I would rather have Pnder in there because he will makes mistakes in-between making good throws, Cassel is Cassel we know what they are facing there.

    "Ponder is questionable"
So the Vikings are going to think about if he plays or not...

I'm hoping ponder does play.....he's our defenses best chance of generating any turnovers
