Dear Troy, Brett and Ike

If you are on this message board and read this, please contact the Steelers and ask them if you can come out of retirement and rejoin the team. Even a shell of your former selves, you are better then the defense we have now.

If you don't come back I will have to change my name on this board from blitz_burgh to swiss_cheese.

We don't need any of the guys mentioned above. Whoever the Ravens have been using to beat the Pats when they need to... THAT'S who we need !

The Ravens use hybrid defenses that are better at using 4-3 Dt's to pressure Brady up the middle

No pressure up the middle against THREE rookie lineman. Seriously? I just have this bad feeling that the Steelers Defense will no doubt finish in the bottom 1/3 in many categories this year. I know their offense is great I just don't think it's going to be enough to compensate for the bad D. Plenty of games to go and I didn't expect them to win this game so hopefully they can play a little better in the upcoming games.

 

Mel still looks like he could play...

while we are at it lets bring back Lambert ,Ham ,and Russell ,Mean Joe and LC Greenwood ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,now that should handle the problem

Opposite to last year's revival of Harrison and Keisel, I don't see Ike or Troy coming back.

On the other hand, Keisel seems to be waiting for a call

Yeah right have those guys come out of retirement so they can get injured and stand on the sidelines in sweats ala Duce Staley. We don't need those old washed up players, we need the current players to step up and play Steeler football.
