It has to be extra painful losing that badly to the team Texans, then remembering Houston still has Cleveland's first-round pick in 2024 from the Watson trade.

 

Dammit, we have to win now. If the Texans play the Ravens I want it to be in the AFCCG. I do not want the Chiefs or Bills repping the AFC in SB.

 

He came off the couch and played quite well getting them to this position. But he ran into a buzz saw defense and the mistakes he made were devastating. Plus the vaulted clowns defense was like a sieve being schooled over and over by a rookie phenom QB.

Stroud is the real deal. And will be for years to come. I wish I felt the same about Pickett.

 

He did ok but he is not the same as he once was. He is aging and we know father time is never wrong. Cleveland's organization is more at fault than the players if you ask me. They have the personnel and skills to match but they just cannot get out of the way of themselves. Houston is the real deal for sure but that performance by Cleveland was an embarrassment. Browns have the #1 defense in the league and they laid a huge egg.

 

Imagine that Houston gets a real Qb , and now all of a sudden people try saying they have great players. LoL.
This is what people that don't want to admit how much a Qb can hurt , or help a team. All those great players people try saying they had got them 4-12, 4-13, 3-13-1, and now add CJ, and they win a playoff game.

Flacco was a desperation move that helped get them into the playoffs. I'm amazed they got as much out of him as they did.

 

The Browns made a huge mistake trading for Watson and giving him that massive guaranteed contract, but losing him left them scrambling at quarterback. Losing Chubb was just brutal, but they also took some hits on the offensive line and the Texans took advantage.

 

They would not have had such an issue if they did not bet the farm on Watson. The contract and money they paid was ridiculous. They will feel this one for many years to come.
