The announcers said he was going to be the DPOY. I cannot remember exactly what they said. But what a joke. Why is his name even mentioned in the conversation. TJ should have this locked. The #1 vaunted defense in the league is getting smoked and Garrett did nothing today.

Maybe the voters and all of these sports media hounds fawning over him are concerned that Jussie Garrett may pull out the old race card again?

 

I was on a white water rafting trip on Snake River in Hells Canyon Oregon/Idaho back in late 90's and Hicks (Michael Biehn) was on it also. Very down to earth nice guy. I didn't recognize him and then my daughters said: "Dad, that's Johnny Ringo!" Now I'm a big fan - after the fact. Aliens, Tombstone, The Abyss, The Rock, Terminator. I was so embarrassed, after the fact.

I hope the Carolina fans are enjoying watching Stroud resurrect the Texans in year one. Drafting Bryce Young ahead of Stroud may be almost as bad as drafting Trubisky ahead of Mahomes.

The Browns peaked. They'll be on the decline for the foreseeable future as that Watson contract becomes a stone around the organization's neck. It is fitting that the Texans humiliated them today.

Naw, Texans have players, Panthers are junk from top (ownership) to bottom. Stroud would have sunk in that ship too.

 

I agree that he would have struggled there given how poorly the organization is run, but he would have had considerably more success than Young because he is just a much better player. The Panthers still would have been bad because of the supporting cast, but they would have had an excellent player to build around for the future.
