I could be wrong, but it looks tome like it's going to be Steelers hosting the Dolphins in the opening round of the playoffs. To tell the truth, I'd rather see us play them than the Chiefs.

But I'm sure that many of us here feel a little uneasy about playing the fins - if you know what I mean.

I think the most dangerous AFC team in the playoffs is going to be the Chiefs. I think they can knock off both the Raiders and Patsy's.

I think the road to the SB for the AFC is going to have to go through KC. They play good ball every week, and they broke out this guy named Hill - #10. I'm watching them beat the Broncos now, and when #10 runs with the ball, everybody else on the field looks like they are running in slow motion.

The Chiefs remind me of the Steelers, you could put Steeler uniforms on them and I wouldn't know the difference.

I have a feeling KC is gonna beat the pats. I don't think we will have too much trouble getting to the AFC ship. We have some unfinished business with the fins, and we'll take care of them this time. The Carr-less raiders shouldn't be tough, as I believe he is a legit MVP candidate and they will obviously miss him. Hoping KC meets us in the Ship though because they would have to come through Pittsburgh, and you know they don't want to play here.

That assumes the Chiefs don't steal the No. 2 seed. It is certainly possible that they win out and the Raiders lose without Carr next week.

The Dolphins have played well since that victory over the Steelers, but if Tuitt is back, Pittsburgh isn't the same defensive team it was that day. The Steelers have been much better against the run in recent weeks and hopefully Roethlisberger won't get hurt during the game again.

We will beat the Dolphins. After that we get Chiefs or Raiders.

Then it`s on to fight the Cheating Evil Empire unless somehow they got knocked out.

Amazing that we may end up playing two teams without their starting QB`s. Maybe somebody can "take care" of Brady and make it three, LOL.

So for as much as Steeler fans complain about possibly having to play the Patriots in the playoffs, it's important to note the teams haven't met in the playoffs since the 2004 AFC Championship game. The fear is not unwarranted considering Tomlin's 2-5 record against Belichick/Brady, and 0-3 in last three meetings. However, I think we should step back and realize that only one current Steeler has actually played the Pats in January and that was a 22 year old rookie by the name of Ben Roethlisberger. Give this surprisingly young team some credit and believe that they can cast off demons of past seasons if given the chance.

As a Steeler fan, let's hope the Raiders win the west. As a #2 seed, we would likely play the Raiders & the Chiefs would play the Patriots. If we beat the Raiders & the Chiefs beat the Patriots, AFC championship game will be in Pittsburgh. Don't feel good if we have to play the Chiefs in KC...

Stop ajayi and get after Matt Moore and we win in a landslide...... I'm sure they will remember what ajayi did to them last time

For the wildcard round, we need the Pats to win a meaningless game against the Dolphins to keep them the 6 seed.

Methinks the Dolphins might want to win to hopefully face the Texans instead.

Raiders have everything to play for against Denver. Win and get a bye - maybe even 1 seed. Not to mention reps for Mcgloin. Should they fall and KC beat a hapless Chargers team, then Steelers will go to KC should they win the wildcard round.

My preference is for the Raiders to be the 2 seed and then KC takes out the Pats in divisional round.

I think the dolphins are the better matchup as long as its moore playing. I do agree that the defense should be pissed after last game. offense too

I'd rather play the Chiefs in KC if it comes down to a freeze-out day. The Chiefs just installed a multi-million dollar heating system in their field. Our Steelers have a better running and passing game than the Chiefs, so happy fields is what we want. I think KC might have a better defense, so I'd like to keep field conditions to a non-factor.

But I'm hoping we get the fins, and KC gets the Texans.

I'm not worried about the Patsy's without Gronk, and the Raiders Offense doesn't scare me at all. I think the best team in the AFC is KC.

Defense is what is gonna be the factor in the AFC, I like every AFC playoff teams defense.

Miami at home should be as good a matchup as we can get in the playoffs. Moore is no slouch, but he is a back up QB. I hope Oakland wins bc I think Miami/Oakland and the route of the back up QB will be easier to win than facing KC. I don't care who we get in the afccg tho. I'd prefer KC since it would be home but a gronkless Pats team is beatable too. Just win baby

The Pats lead the NFL in scoring defense (by a pretty decent amount). Wouldn't think that at first thought. Going to NE for an AFCCG will be a massive challenge, Gronk or no Gronk.

Best hope is KC beats them in divisional round - if the Pats seem to struggle, that's the round they've been somewhat vunerable but I'm not sold on KC going in there and winning.

The Steelers did win convincingly against the Chiefs, though that was at home. It wouldn't be easy, but I think they can beat that team again.

Bottom line: it looks like we are going to get the fins, and the chiefs are going to get the texans. Next round Steelers get the Raiders, and Chiefs get the Pats.
To get to the Super bowl, we will have to beat the fins and Carr-less Raiders.
I think KC will knock off Texans and Pats.

SO THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME LOOKS TO ME LIKE ITS "STEELERS VS CHIEFS".

COULD BE STEELERS VS COWBOYS - WHAT IS THAT, 4 TIMES?

I wouldn't be surprised to see KC be the 2nd seed. Raiders have to beat the Broncos with a back up QB.

McGloin aint no chump, I like him as much as i like Carr. Broncos are going to rest their walking wounded, they got nothing to play for, and why get a star hurt bad in a meaningless game?
In KC how bad in Andy Reid going to want a win vs San diego, they are already in the playoffs, so why risk injury there too?
Same thing with the Pats and Fins, both are locked in, Brady may rest.
Steelers Browns too. Steelers are locked in #3.

KC will not rest, with the chance for a bye, its like a playoff win plus rest. KC will not lose to a team that lost to the Browns. Besides, SD gets a better draft position by losing.

I've been studying the stats all day, and if the stats are true, it looks like a Atlanta vs New England Super Bowl, and maybe an Atlanta win. Thats what the tea leaves are saying to me anyway.
I'm hoping we play Miami, Oakland, and KC, but that will require KC to knock off the Pats.

Oakland has the best giveaway/takeaway ratio in the league, followed by KC, ATL, NE, Buffalo. Miami is 10th and Steelers 14th. useless info.........

I think we can. They will be more focused on him this time and will want to make up for letting them burn him the last time in Miami.

Yes we can if Shazier and the rest of the defense actually tackles him at the point of contact!

I agree with this, I think we get the Dolphins in the 1st round but the 2nd round is still up for grabs. I want the Raiders to keep that 2 seed not cause I am scared to play KC but cause I want the Cheats to have the toughest road possible before we get there. I think as bad as Denver is it would be crazy to think a division rival will just let the Raiders have this game. I am a little worried that KC has the better shot at the #2 spot and then the Cheats have an easier road in the playoffs. Either way watch out boyz we are coming for #7!!!!!!!!
