Butler! Yes, I know he isn't a player, but I'd actually like to see what someone else could do with a number of the players you mentioned.

Ramon Foster and Gilbert. Heyward-Bay. Xavier Grimble. Chickillo. McCullers and Walton.

 

If you want tomlin gone then get rid of Ben lol

 

Burns, burnett, Dupree, sean Davis, heyward-bey, ridley, sensabaugh, Boswell, and the entire defensive coaching staff.

 

I really have no basis for this (and I'm sure some will disagree), but something in my guts says Dupree could play inside linebacker. I think because I see some Timmons in him physically.

 

Dupree is too injury prone to play ILB. He would shatter like a China Doll.

 

Timmons was a tackling machine. Dupree shys away from contact and has a hard time getting away from blocks. You can't have that at MLB. He would be even worse playing there. Physically yes he is similar but that's about it.

 

Well I did say it was just an opinion, but I don't really think he shies away from contact. I just don't think he knows what to do with the contact.

Burnett needs to be kept for depth, IMO.

 

Yeah man we need guys like him. Solid guy that can keep the machine running smooth. I think he’s a valuable part of our defense, doesn’t have the Death Valley lows that our other guys do, and is relatively cheap enough.

I’ll pick one guy I’d say an arguable tough goodbye to: Bud Dupree. He just doesn’t make the splash plays we need from that rush position. He’ be on his second contract too, so I think we should roll with a rookie contract guy, maybe Ola or a 2019 draftee.

 

Burnett and bostic could stay for depth. Need to address ilb,cb,s and some ol. Big ben may get a two year extension if he continues his diet.

 

He is the only viable starting cornerback on the roster. That would be a really dumb cap casualty.

 

OK looking at most of you guy's lists I have to ask did the Steelers pick up like 6 or seven more draft picks? Where are the replacements for the guys you want gone going to come from and are we prepared as a fan base for the downturn it may cause?

 

Haden being cut would be a huge mistake. Huge! Restructure him.

 

This started last year. People wanted us to have a 37 man roster. Some people don’t understand you don’t cut a guy until you have a better replacement.
