Player's Cold Weather Sideline Capes?

Does anybody know where you can purchase those sideline capes they wear when it's freezing out? My wife loves them and I'd love to snag one for her lol.

 

I'd like to know, too.

 

I used to be in licensed products long ago, and some of my customers collected EVERYTHING with a team logo on it that can be obtained. At that time- about 25 years ago- the capes fell into what was known as a team only item. You can buy super hero style capes, but never saw those sideline ones available.

However, just did some searching and found people with the same question, and the answer was that you can - but still looking as to where.

Anyway, if you can't find it online, I can check with one of my customers from those days whom I'm still in touch with. He'd know.

 

I have what they call a parka. Not sure if it's as long as the ones they were wearing today, but it's definitely way longer than a normal coat. Looks pretty much the same from what I remember. It's in storage, I'll have to dig it out and see.
I bought it late 80's IIRC. Seems like I bought it through an ad in Steelers Digest. Might be wrong though.

 

they are made specially for the team. or use to be. they use to have them at the university of Tennessee. you couldn't wear them without pads. I mean they are 5 times bigger than anyone without them would need.

I did see one on ebay several years ago. it was a Minnesota Vikings, said it belonged to a former player. who knows

 

Parkas I used to sell all the time, that was a popular item in my cold weather market. I suspect yours is made by Starter.
