    :this!:

Also agree on the tender. If the Steelers are serious about upgrading their defense, at the absolute worst, one first round pick is more than enough.

Who knows? Given the current circumstances of the defense, we just might be able to kill two birds with one stone.

He is also likely to be picked up by a team currently rebuilding.

I honestly hopes he signs it before week six. However, I am not getting my hopes up.

Not in a million years. Above winning is principle. Can't reward these idiots and play their game.

The ship has sailed for Bell. If I was in the Steelers position, even when he came back his azz would be sitting the bench. Just for making a point.

Give teams next year doubt in his abilities. Screw him as he's screwing the Steelers.

And as others have mentioned, the negotiation deadline has past. Either he plays on the tag or not. Keep him only for his compensatory pick.

Matthews is past his prime, no thanks. Orakpo is injury prone, pass on him also.

Vikings have a RB, Green bay doesn't but Matthews is washed up, Titans have a RB, and the giants have a better RB than Bell

They are moving on. He said he would be here September 9. They took him for his word and listed him accordingly. He lied. Right now, he is just an ex Steeler who is unemployed.

I like to think of him as a rapper who once played pro football.

The Bears just gave up two 1 picks and 141M for Mack, and after 3 games they would trade him for an out of shape back, never happen.....

He would never sign it before testing the market which that tag allows him to do.

If it doesn't look like anyone is biting, you could pull the tag.

Bell wouldn't sign it though, he wants that long term contract with big guaranteed money.

Ding Dong is irrelevant! It is the defense that is the problem. It is so bad even with Ding Dong the Steelers can't out score the teams. So why bother with him.

Probably right. If I sit out nearly all of 2018, though, maybe I start enjoying the relaxed life with my millions and my dope rhymes. Come back in 2019 for that obscene $23MM, realize the jet skis and stripper asses were more fun, then go live on a beach and get fat (again).

No amount of $$ to Bell is going to help the Steelers win week 1 & 2 games. Conner did everything he could to win week 1, and was barely used in week 2. In both cases the defense (or others) were the reason we lost the game.... not the incremental contribution (or lack thereof) by Bell would have mattered.

Seems to me the young coordinators (offense & defense) are struggling to adjust to real life in the NFL.

I would love to trade Bell. But there is no guarantee that he would play for another team as a one year rental. I agree with others offense is not the issue.

Offense is fine....defense is what I'm worried about.

No. The running game isn't the problem. Bell would be radioactive in our locker room anyway.

Let's move on with Connor and look at speedy RB's in second or third round of the draft to compliment him.

Who are the 3 knuckle heads who voted yes?

I notice they didn’t have the balls to post why. All I see is “no” responses.

Will Bell be in shape to play? He looks out of shape in those videos posted lately.
