I'm curious about everyone's thoughts right now. You're 0-1-1. Do you push all your chips in the middle of the table and try to entice Bell to sign and suit up this week, or do you let it play out?

Stick to the plan. They made offers. He declined them. They are willing to play by the agreement they have. Don’t give in. Don’t reward bad behavior.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but NFL rules prohibit us from negotiating a deal with him at this point.

With that said, even if we could, I would not pay him .It's too much for a RB and I don't think it would help us a whole lot. It wouldn't have cut down on Ben's INT's in the first game and wouldn't have helped us defensively in the second game. We might have had a better running game, but offense wasn't our problem

I would however fire Tomlin and give the new guy the choice to either fire or keep the rest of the coaches

Absolutely Not..... Bell not being here is Not the Problem...

Our issues lie with the defense....

Maybe use some of our new found cap money from Bell to get a Better Safety or ILB off the streets OR go with what we have and hope the communication issues are solved!!

They made the mistake of giving Blount what he wanted. Ditto JH. Now Bell wants the same. Don’t make a mistake the third time.

Let it play out. I'm not convinced that Bell would of helped this team be 2-0, he doesn't play defense. He will report Week 10. Right now even if he did report, I would highly question his game shape. He might be working out sure, but is he ready after skipping mini-camp, training camp, and the 1st two weeks of the season.

Take Harrison for example when he came back from retirement. He was a work out fool if there ever was one, and it still took him several weeks by his own admission to be ready for a game.

Bell would not have made any difference vs. Browns and Chiefs. Can Bell play safety, corner or ILB?

Conner may not have his talent ,but that kids heart is second to none on this team, give me that over an unappreciative/ungrateful talent any day .Locker room leader in the making ,min bus perhaps..

I'm not sure I follow. Is it the franchise tag all he can get? Or can we give him more money than that?

Bell might have held onto the ball in the 4th quarter vs the Browns, and he may have helped prevent the two 3-and-outs and missed FG attempt that gave KC the opportunity to go up 21-0.

    You're probably right about that.
I love everything about Connor, but he can't be compared to (fit and trim) Bell.

Bell/offense isn't the issue. I'd use some of the cap to try to find somebody who can help this pathetic excuse for a defense.

Release Bell. Trade Brown. Fire Tomlin. Start building a structured team.

The front office has $1.7MM to throw at him.

I wouldn’t. I don’t think his return provides the correction the team most needs. Although a boost on offense would likely have an effect on defense.

I would start cutting dead weight. All these offensive investments won't do anything. There is no "now" anymore because this philosophy has not changed.

It's time to re-brand this team and start over. I am not talking Browns level of suckitude but we can afford some 7-9, 6-10 seasons as we move forward with dobbs/mason. Whoever is drafting defense fire him and get someone who can lol. do a 4-3 I don't care.

Ben is not winning a championship with this defense/coaching. Unless this defense does a 360 this year I just don't see it. It's butlers what 3rd year?... and they still look lost.

In that case, no, I wouldn't offer anything extra.
