Did 30 miles on my bike yesterday so I'm pretty much ready for the Tour DE France! Just wondering if any of you have cool places to bike in your area or have traveled somewhere. I live in Iowa so we have Ragbrai every year which is quite a good time. We get more and bike trails each year as well.

I see people with bikes all the time. I haven't ridden one since 1998. So I really don't know what the place is they go 2 around here, but it can't be that far.....since I see them go by down by the highway. LoL

Negative, Ghost Rider. I ride but I'm not a biking fanatic. Knees are too shot for that.

We have bike paths that connect from Dayton to Cincinnati, so there are plenty of places like that to ride around here, with some great scenery. I used to bike 10 miles a day 4 of 5 days a week way back before I was married.

Now I take my kids over to the bike path and we skateboard on it (just riding on the paths, elsewhere for any tricks).

Tons of places here in CA. Highway 1 in Northern CA comes to mind, through the redwoods.
Somehow, bikers always seem to be riding 2-3 abreast.........right in front of me when I'm driving somewhere!

Bike paths are the hot setup. Staying out of traffic is the ticket.

Yeah, the coast road up there is curvy with great views of the rocky coastline.
