Pittsburgh Dad reacts to the playoff debacle against the Chiefs

Awesome. Going to be a long off season.

 

Now I start hockey season, then baseball.

Pirate baseball gets the boot as soon as the first preseason game shows up, then it’s football season again.

Baseball season is only about 9 weeks long.

 

Going to be a long decade actually

 

You gotta gameplan to be that bad. LMAO

 

NHL season really doesn't get exciting until after the trade deadline. I'll still watch the games but as we move towards April then I get more excited. I think the Pens have a good team this year provide the boys don't sit back and go well Sid and Geno will do all the scoring I'm just going to coast. If Hextal starts making a trade or two I'll know this is the last try for another Cup with Sid, Geno and Tanger, if he stays pat then I'll look for both Geno and Letang to be moved at the end of the season.

 

I really can't get into hockey. That ish just doesn't excite me. I'll watch some basketball, like March Madness and some soccer. But for the most part this is a dead period of sorts until baseball season in April. But with this lockout, I figure there may not even be a season. Teams and players are very far apart. So I guess until be EPL/MLS for my spring and summer sports until camp gets going.

 

I can tell you haven't been watching hockey at all this season. Guentzel, Letang and Rodrigues are leading the team in scoring with a total of 15 players with double digit scoring so far this season.

 

Basketball blows and soccer's worse. Hockey is ten times better than both combined.

 

Boxing beats all , but Football.

 

If we all liked the same things this would be a boring planet. Hockey doesn't interest me and I'll leave it at that. Many Pens fans are family and friends. I wish them well and are happy for them when they win. But I won't watch as it's not for me.

 

I loved boxing and enjoys some MMA. It's unfortunate boxing is a thing of the past.

 

I'm surprised they even allow boxing anymore. I mean BA slaps one of his own players with his helmet on and you'd think he brutally assaulted him and should be facing jail time. This society is completely soft these days.

 

I can see your point. I'd rather watch women's beach volleyball.

 

It's not a thing of the past. IMO. I watch almost every weekend. Since I was a little boy. It was huge in My family. Fact is boxing was My first love of sports.

 

My wife likes Brussels Sprouts

Fun fact about boxing. Mike Tyson is exactly one day older than I am..................and a lot richer.

 

Yes I have and with Malkin out most of the season until a few weeks ago, Sid out for awhile and then Carter temporarily they were getting secondary scoring with Evan just on fire.but remember the last few seasons as they move towards the playoffs that secondary scoring fell off a cliff and when they needed it , it wasn't there. They need a third line that's consistently scoring like the HBK line in 16 and 17. I'm encouraged by everyone chipping in but I'm waiting until the end to see if they sustain it. Couple of sites were talking about moving Zucker and I'm lukewarm on that.
