i think this approach came because we had too.

green was never ready this year. coates had the fingers injured. DHB, which i thought was a bigger deal than most want to consider was injured. wheaton out. bryant out. two, well really three new or young TE's. it all added up to this offensive approach.

now saying that, DHB is a vet which helps out with the receiving corps and it should solidify it for ben more so. hamiltons hands and blocking ability gives ben options. eli and ayers are big pluses to have running underneath. the weapons are there at bens disposal if he chooses. coates just hasn't blossomed so trying to fit him in as a major weapon right now may not be viable. we do however have two go to studs in bell and AB, which most teams don't have. we have the firepower to play it any way we want, but it's not been utilized to it's fullest just yet.
