Because I'd rather set up the team to actually compete in the playoffs in the future, than be on the fringe and get smoked by better teams every year.

 

I can't even get past beating the Lions this week. If that happens, maybe I'll be more game to read the rest...

I agree with this completely. We have 1 more loss on the year to play with. 2 losses and we miss the playoffs.

I have not been confident at all this year but the Buffalo win brought me back enough to get me thinking if we beat the Lions. At home I think we can actually do it.

Root for the team and hope for the best. Not subscribing to this lay down the rest of the games for a better draft pick mentality. That is terrible!

These dudes make more cash than all of us combined will see in a lifetime and I at the very least want to see them earn their damn paycheck!

We all have differing opinions on the fact as to whether this team is talented enough to win or not, but I'm sure regardless of those differing opinions that we can all agree that this team ain't busted their ass or played with much heart.

time for these boys to earn their ridiculous salaries and win or lose, at least go down playing hard.

Maddening to think that we should take a dive for future's sake... Man that theory just pisses me off.

Realistically, our boys haven`t shown me enough consistent results, to have faith in them, but...
They have been giving good effort, and, I agree that we have enuff talent to compete with almost anyone, WHEN we put a complete game together, and don`t beat ourselves.
Given the state of our division, and the games remaining in it, I think we actually have a chance to win it...
And, I REAAALLLLYYYY wanna see us sweep the Clowns, after all the crap I`ve(deservedly)heard from their fans this year... Sucks I gotta root for them to hand Cincy a loss this week, but... I gotta...
And like it has been pointed out... once we get to the dance, anything can happen...
I really don`t see ANYONE(Us included), stopping Denver, but, ya never know...
Manning could get injured on any given play, just like anyone else.
