I think people just acknowledge it’s a strong area of their scouting whereas DB’s is a weak area.

The longer things go, JOK is becoming my man. The guy you're praying falls.

I was hoping at one point that maybe Lance would fall at least far enough to make a move on, but I don't see it.

No team is going to hit on every draft pick at a position, the Steelers have done better at picking receivers than any other team in the league.

Picks past the 2nd round, not so much. AB is the only one that stuck. DJ may be one. He was a 3rd.

If you can get him in the sixth round, a one trick pony can be useful. Not so much at #9.

I believe Shazier was a little heavier than 215, and didn't really come on
until he built himself up to 240. No doubt kid is talented, but I find these undersized ILBs
get lost in the shuffle of 300 pound OL that push them around like rag dolls.

I hear you. I do think the kid is special though. I don't think he falls to #24 anyway. We would have to move up, and given our needs, I don't see that as an option.

I know you probably question his level of competition, but Zaven Collins at 6'4 260 who can run like the wind, is physically your type of ILB.

    surratt
    collins
    and maybe later paddy fisher
are all very productive and more in line with what we need at LB. all can cover, all are bigger, all are more productive and all can run.

I think he is special but not at ILB at that playing weight. Collins is more to my liking for ILB. I like big motors and these 2 have them.

that's very debatable. Vikings, seahawks, chiefs, falcons, saints, cardinals, bucs and probably a few others are pretty well off as well. QBs make a big difference in that as well as std has stated.

Martivis Bryant, on the field, was a success.

He had some in game success no doubt. But as a whole, a disaster .

Someone who reminds me of Martavis the player is Tamorrious Toney from Florida St. 6'4 205, can fly. Probably a 2nd or 3rd round pick.
