they would either have to pick it up, which would be stupid for a back up, or they could try and work a deal that GB did with Love a couple of years ago. They gave a 2 year extension, was better than usual back up money with incentives and gave him 2 years to prove himself once they got rid of Rodgers.

If they go could go this route then giving up a 4th or 5th might work, it's still a long shot, but the investment would still fit the plan.

I don’t. Pickett’s attitude did more to hurt his career than the OC.

That is some pretty low value for a first round QB. Reading into it, the Steelers head shed did not see much value in Kenny...... Guess that the Kenny haters here were correct about his skill.......lol

For the record, I was not a KFP hater..... Ah well, the search continues.

Apparently Pickett refused to be the back-up.... If he can't handle the Pittsburgh media, wait until he experiences Philly lmao good riddance.

We spent too many hours debating whether Kenny or Canada was the problem... Apparently the answer was both.

Kenny was like "yeah cool I'll compete, but not with that ****ing guy"

I can't see them be 'all in' on Wilson, if he plays lights out and wins a PO game, then they will have a decision to make, big bucks for an aging QB (did we not just come out of that nightmare), or if they get Fields and already picked up the option, we pay 25 million to see that he gets even more...or he stinks enough we draft a replacement. lol. If they decide on Fields, hopefully they can swing a deal like GB made with Love, guarantee some lower number with incentives and let him prove himself.

They're either going to draft someone to learn under Russ and/or they're going to sign another vet QB. The team clearly agreed with many of us fans that Kenny was a bust. I'm shocked they found someone to give up anything for him.

In public the 'professional' words are spoken, I think the problems started when he fussed about and was not going to dress as the 3rd string emergency, then more internal complaining. I have no idea where his career will go, but to run away from competition. even if you feel embarrassed is never going to fly in a pro locker room.
