What? I am saying that after Sean Payton exploded on Russell Wilson on the sideline he was no longer going to be a member of the Denver Broncos ever again. Him leaving or even getting benched had nothing to do with his play. 26 TD and 8 Ints is not a reason to get rid of your starting QB.

The Broncos had a choice to make either get rid of Russell Wilson, or get rid of Sean Payton. The Broncos did what most Corporations do, Keep the boss and pay a lot of money for the employee to go away.

 

No, you first attacked me personally a while back claiming I was making things up when I clearly stated “In my opinion!” Coincidentally, that opinion eventually came out as the likely story which was the Steelers signed Wilson as a way of lighting a competitive fire under Pickett. Instead it backfired and he ran.

Pointing out that someone is making things up is not a personal attack. Yes, I saw anonymous report and gave it the lack of consideration it deserves. Also, your interpretation of that report is laughable.

I agree with others it is time to put this thread to bed. This message board is a place we come together to share opinions, enjoy each other’s views, and above all the camaraderie of Steeler Nation! Most of us don’t come here to argue, but some come specifically for that reason. This will be my last post on this thread. As the saying goes, it is difficult to win an argument with an intelligent person, but it is impossible to win against an idiot. I will continue to share a respectful intelligent dialogue with the rest of you.
