The reason Mason sparked the fans was obvious, the other 2 qbs were horrendous. End of story

Well, between Fields and Wilson they threw 42 TDs last season, the Steelers QBs threw 13 TDs .

For Chicago it is the Grass is always greener situation with Caleb Williams.

For Denver, I think after Sean Payton went ApeSh!t on Russel they were forced to let him go. This isn't the 70s anymore and that kind of behavior by a boss is not tolerated anywhere, even in the NFL. I don't know how a QB ever gets the locker room back after that.

It is crazy just watching Russell Wilson stand there and take the abuse by his head coach, with his QB coach standing right beside him. I don't think he knew what the hell was going on. I have never had this happen to me, and have no idea how I would react in this type of a situation.

We will see if Fields or Wilson will be the answer or not but one thing is certain it would have been a big mistake if Pickett would have been our starter with Rudolph as backup for another year...It would have been as bad as when they kept Canada for another year even if everyone knew he was historically bad...The Steelers' biggest mistake with Pickett was to draft him in 2022

For his game against the Bengals, it was a good game for him but still only 16 points...Rudolph had helped the Steelers to score 34 points a month later against this same Bengals team....Also the following game against the Bengals, it was more of the same vs cards...only 3 points with 5 minutes left in the second quarter before his injury...It was against 2 awful defense...it was time for a change

Hyperbole can be useful, but it is no substitute for a well-crafted, well-supported argument.

It wasn't the same Bengals team. They had lost a key player on the defensive line and they over-corrected to what the Steelers did to them the first time, focusing on Freiermuth and allowing Pickens to go one-on-one all day.

Pickett was robbed of a touchdown pass that would have also put him over 300 yards in that first game against the Bengals. He also didn't miss three or four receivers who were open deep the way Rudolph did.

They were worse the second time the Steelers faced them. They lost their best run defender up front the week before their second game against Pittsburgh. So no, they weren't the same defense both times just as the Steelers weren't the same defense later in the season, when injuries had taken a big toll.

I have no problem accepting facts. It’s just the way you try to tailor to your assumptions of which you have no knowledge. We all have assumptions and opinions, we are entitled to that. You just argue that everyone else is wrong because they don’t agree. Just admit it is your opinion instead of trying to argue that you are right and everyone else is wrong.

You clearly do have a problem with facts as you are misrepresenting them as assumptions. I presented facts to support my claim. You can't even admit that much, which is your failure.

There is ample evidence that Rudolph's options were limited. That is an opinion that is well-supported by facts. You refuse to admit as much because you don't like what the facts tell us.

Mason played at a higher level than Pickett did against the Bengals regardless of who was on defense. While Mason attempted the throw and may have missed the receiver downfield, Kenny missed seeing the open receiver through his reads and didn’t attempt the throw. I’d rather have my QB taking shots downfield to open up the run game than allowing the defense to bottle up the line because they didn’t fear Kenny’s downfield passing game. Don’t be afraid to give Mason credit for his success rather than make excuses for it.

Ah, so you admit that it is your opinion and is not fact. Thank you! Now that wasn’t so hard was it???!!!

No matter who the bengals had on the field on defense in 2023,they were about the same level....A bottom 5-10 defense all year

Now you are reading the minds of opposing defenses. That's funny.

Pickett lost a touchdown pass due to Johnson failing to hold the ball long enough and the officials blowing the call. Rudolph had Pickens turn an intermediate throw into an 86-yard touchdown. The difference there is execution by teammates, not the play of the quarterbacks.

Your argument also relies on dismissing the change in the Bengals' defense, which was weaker the second time around.

They were worse the second time. If you are going to look at the situation honestly, that is a factor. If you want to stick your fingers in your ears and ignore the facts, that's your mistake.

A claim is an opinion. How do you not know that? You really shouldn't be so proud if your ignorant misreading of my previous posts.

Wow! You are getting personal and attacking me. According to one of your previous posts you only do that when you are losing.

An opinion is an unproven statement of belief which may be based on experience, judgment, or your prejudice. A claim is a statement presumed to be supported by hard evidence. How do you not know the difference? You really shouldn’t be so proud of your misinterpretation of the basic English language. (Apologies in advance, that’s me stooping to your level.)

Why do you not understand the difference between mocking the content of a person's specific post or posts and name calling? More importantly, you took this in a personal direction first. Why are you now dishonestly asserting otherwise?

Claims are not always supported by facts, though they should be. When you state a claim, you are asserting that something is true. It is a type of a opinion, one that should be supported by facts. That your understanding of what constitutes a claim is so flawed does not make my statement a misinterpretation.

This is all an attempt on your part to distract from your previous false statement. You claimed that I presented no facts in my argument. That simply isn't true. Rather than admit I have provided facts that support my claim, you are playing this ridiculous game.
