Yep...and that's exactly what it is, an opinion. But it's an opinion based on my observations over the last few months. It's perfectly fine if others have a different opinion. It would be nice if others on this board stopped looking at their opinions as facts and recognized that their opinion just might be wrong. As for Kenny, I never imagined his career with the Steelers would come to the unceremonious end that it did, but his behavior absolutely played a major role in that.

I could understand if you were arguing an opinion based on some facts, but arguing opinion based on rumors, seems a little silly to me.

For some of these guys play fair shot means that these players should get a full year of starting just to see what they’re capable of.

There is a local sports radio station here in western PA and the afternoon guys are almost unlistenable because some of the stuff that comes out of their mouths is made up stupidity

Then 5 minutes later someone here starts a new post solely because they were just itching to start a post if their own and repeats what the idiots said as gospel truth

Then a whole bunch of other board members just take it as fact and run with it sometimes for years even after it has been proven to be false

 

I mean I get forming an opinion about something, but to sit there and argue with someone about it over and over when what’s your arguing over probably isn’t even true it’s just dumb.

Some of these guys are whipping their selves into a frenzy overstuffed that probably isn’t even true.

Hypothetical Situation.

it’s reported that Player X was killed yesterday.
24 hours later and it’s confirmed that that report was incorrect and the player is actually alive.
The reaction of some people here is
“ I don’t care what anybody says or that they just showed the guy alive on the news. I still think he’s dead and I’ll argue with you about it.”

It’s like WTF man are you that ****ing stupid.

 

Not to bud in, but this has now devolved into two posters making a bunch of posts about how other posters post without really knowing what the original posters think but just speculating based on the original posters posts.

On the same premise you refuse to acknowledge he was leading 3rd and 4th stringers on offense.I know we will have to agree to disagree. Trubisky was asked last year about his struggles and he said you needed to look at his body of work as a whole not just the issues he was having getting acclimated to Pittsburgh. That was a tell tale that even he knew he wasn’t performing better.

I don't mind people saying Mason got a fair shot, but I do find it very hypocritical that the same people then will say KFP wouldn't have gotten a fair shot if He stayed.

I did acknowledge that he was leading third and fourth stringers on offense. That is why he was the best player on the field, because he was surrounded by scrubs on both teams.

No, Trubisky wasn't playing as well as he did during his peak in Chicago, but he still outperformed Rudolph in the 2022 preseason.

 

One was competing with Mitchell Trubisky. The other was going to compete with Russell Wilson. How do you not understand the difference?
