If that was true Tomlin would've only lasted five years or less like Switzer did, Payton didn't build that team anyway their GM Loomis built that team. Payton had one of the best home field advantages in the NFL, and a hall of fame QB in a weak NFC and only made it to one Super Bowl.

we can check this and that till we are blue in the face - watch the games. there is no deep ball threat RIGHT NOW with Pickett and this PEDESTRIAN offense

we are in the NFL now. I could not CARE LESS what he did at Pitt, untill I can see him do it with the Steelers. this far, we have seen little of the deep ball. We have seen check down charlie and ball control. Canada sucks, Tomlin and Rooney leave the suckage in place. Will they get Kenny what he needs?

    I doubt it....

If Jerry Jones was running the Steelers Tomlin would have been fired in 5 years. Your assessment was correct

I thought Denver getting Wilson was a good move. I was not a fan of giving up that much draft capital and money. Hopefully he bounces back next season. I find it hard to believe he feel off a cliff that fast. Even if he does play better he will never be worth what they paid.

I think Tomlin’s message has grown stale and it’s time for him to move on, but I’d much rather have Tomlin as the HC than Jerry Jones as the owner.

I liked Con Air. But mostly because of Malkovich and Steve Buscemi. Cusack also had a minor role as one of Anthony Michael Hall's dorky friends in 16 Candles. I've never seen Gross Point Blank. The John Hughes movies were my demographic and I enjoyed them. To me, the greatest single character was Bill Paxton as Chet in Weird Science. Chet: "I want to get to the bottom of this ASAFP." Lisa: "Oh, so do I." Chet: "But first, what say I butter your muffin?" Lisa: "Chet, why are you such a wanker?" Chet: "Because I get off on it!"

What he did at Pitt matters because he showed the physical skill to make those throws. Now he needs the coaching and confidence to bring that skill set to the pros.

He also showed the ability to develop his game at Pitt, which shows his potential for growth.

There wasn't a deep ball threat with Trubisky either.
Nor was there one with Roethlisberger last year.

What's the common denominator amongst the three?
