Pickett expects to play Sunday

I live in Cincinnati. I can’t believe you didn’t hear me after the 4th and 1 call last week no matter where on the entire globe you happen to reside.

 

I was making too much noise of my own to hear anybody else. I was saying it out loud as I wrote it here: "Kick the damn field goal!"

 

Yes! It made no damn sense being down by just 10 points with a 1:15 left in the 3rd quarter to not just kick a 51 yard field goal with Boswell who is having a Pro Bowl type season. These decisions should be easy for a high school coach.

 

Not sure how they can beat them but it would change the culture on this board. Should they smoke us, this board will be a 2 week nightmare. I sure the hell want to be 3-2 at the bye.

IMO, HUGE game for our boys. If Pickett shows us positive steps and we win, I'll have hope we will get better after bye week and stay in the hunt.

Be funny if Steelers rested Kenny and Trub had a hell of a game. This board would be so divided. Still can't believe Trub went before Mahomes. Damn Bears could have kept him in NFC.

 

I was in a bar with Eagle fans and even they were wondering why we didn't kick a FG then.

 

I believe the culture will be the same. Most of us know its time for changes. Some don't and that's fine for them. Another winning season without the playoffs and then Popcorn getting a 3 year extension and i'm done. I've seen enough. The ship is taking on water year after year and is sinking.

Glad the game is on TV if not I wouldn't go out of my way as I usually do to see it.

I've been a fan since the 70's. But this team has worn on my last nerve from the Owner to the head coach. I have no other rooting interests in ANY other sport.

 

Turnovers and defensive TDs are the only way. Rare, but not impossible.

 

Maybe the whole team has a bone bruise.

 

I was in my living room watching the game on that play, and when they got into shotgun, I'm sure all my neighbors heard me scream NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! WTF ARE YOU DOING, YOU IDIOT!!!!!!!

A bone bruise is a fairly common thing in contact sports.

 

Yeah I don't know how bad He is hurt, but if He's not .....You are correct....now they won't say anything publicly, but they will be talking amongst themselves

 

I expect him to do more than just play, I expect him to win

 

He wasn't that accurate at Pitt. Dude had one good season (his last). Prior to that his stats were average at best.

I think it might be more than a bone bruise. They reported he practiced yesterday wearing a knee brace. Why is he wearing a knee brace for a bone bruise?

 

They are not bringing anyone in from the outside during the season. It is assumed to be Sullivan if Canada is fired during the season because he has been an OC in the NFL before. Anyone who thinks that they are going to interview and hire during the season needs be on medication.

 

BAL has a terrific defense. I’m not optimistic.

Good doesn't quite cover it. He was third in the Heisman Trophy voting. He was quite accurate during that season.

Joe Burrow was average at best until his final season at LSU, too.

 

He wouldn't, though I'm not sure how much they gain by lying. If he wears the brace, that's going to give away to opponents that he has some sort of soft tissue issue in the knee, anyway.
