Dulac said it's usually like a two week injury but who knows.

If Pickens sits out the Eagles game, my conspiracy theory is 100% wrong, and I will need to eat some serious crow on this theory. After the way the offense looked today without Pickens, there is no way Tomlin could keep him out against the Eagles next week for attitude problems.

Setting aside the silliness about it being a benching, is the best course of action sitting him all this week as a precaution and try to get him healthy for the Ravens game in 2 weeks?

Not if you think his attitude is getting out of hand. Quiet time in the corner. During a game that you can win without him. Might rattle him a bit and reign in his behavior. We can't afford it in the playoffs.

Chris Hoke on the post game show was skeptical about Pickens being injured and that was the big discussion this morning on The Fan. I personally think that if he was benched without being injured that he would have taken such a fit that he wouldn't have even stood on the sidelines. Yesterday though he was cheering on his teammates and was celebrating when Mike Williams and Scotty Miller made big catches. If he was a healthy scratch he would have been sulking on the bench or wouldn't have shown up at all.

That sounds more fun than sitting around watching football. Or MarchMadness.

Brice, I lived in Playa Del Carmen for a while. If you can do it while you are on Cozumel, dive Cenote Dos Ojos in Tulum. I have been diving nearly 46 years and that was the best. I am the diver in the middle.

What little credibility Dulac once had is long gone. There is no way they considered letting him play two days after suffering a Grade 2 sprain. I wouldn't be shocked to see them sit Pickens one more week, especially with it being their only remaining non-conference game, but I see no reason to trust anything Dulac says or writes.

LoL. It can be both....many many many players play with injuries that could.....could... keep them out.
So if a HC wanted to do it....it wouldn't be very hard.

Yeah because coaches never try to get things done , and protect players from the media at the same time......Like .....we were not trying to throw to the middle of the field.....even though we were sending guys on routes in the middle of the field, and they were open...LoL....that was my favorite while Fields was playing......actually.....I could do this all day with things coaches say, and that never were true when it comes to players, and protecting them...., and not just in Pittsburgh...., and just this year.

I believe the decision to quietly bench Pickens came from the higher-ups, and the media's sudden alignment with the story of a hamstring injury on Sunday morning reflects their loyalty to the status quo. It also underscores their deference to the Steelers' ownership. For anyone wondering how Mike Tomlin and company managed AB so well for a decade, look at the way they handled this situation: quietly, with the concern of all parties involved.

    well.....you are wrong.

Steelers could have / would be fined BIG if they played this game.

EITHER discipline him and fine and sit him

    OR

HE HAS A GRADE 2 hammy injury.

PS - it is the latter....

Unless Mike Williams becomes Terrell Owens incarnate for the Eagles game..... can't see Steelers beating the Eagles without Pickens.

Now we will know why they brought Mike Williams here. He can stretch the field and will be thrown the rock a lot more.

Hopefully the Hammy is only 2 weeks for Pickens. Need him for the playoffs.

if there is one game to lose it would be against the eagles.

lot of crow eating all over Stiller nation this week. the accusations would not fly with the NFL....

Story broke of hammy tweak i think on Thursday.

He has a significant injury, from a number of reports I have heard. He will see for another couple of week, is my best guess.
