Pickens out today

That should be the gameplan along with a few big plays from Austin and Mike Williams.

Benching him over coaching him? That's not really a Tomlin move. JH got benched for sleeping in meetings, and Chuks got benched for quitting out loud during a game, but it's not typical.

 

I don't know what is worse. Wilson out or Pickens out. This is devastating. Browns are gonna stack the box and Steelers won't have an answer unless Williams steps up. Wish I knew this when I picked.

 

I'm not sure I buy the benching theory. If they are sitting him just to be careful, I don't like that decision. They can't take a division game for granted, especially two weeks after losing to that team.

 

At least he won’t get fined today.

if he doesn’t care what other people think, then be straight about it, The only reason to be ‘cute’ is because you’re concerned what other people think, and don’t want to hear the reaction, which supposedly you don’t care about.

 

Because He's thinking of His players , not You , or me. I don't know how that's so hard to understand

 

Pickens was sat down today, because of his attitude. Not even allowed to test the injury before the game.

 

It's because fans think they are a bigger part of the NFL than we actually are.

George Pickens intended to play today vs. the Browns, but after conversations this morning, the Steelers decided to take a long-term view and not risk the hamstring injury that he suffered at the end of the week. Thus Pickens is inactive.

 

That's not what that says. Says after conversations, they decided not to risk the hamstring injury he suffered at the end of the week.
I don't see anything about 'benched due to attitude'.

 

So that tells me that Tomlin bench his best receiver because that is the only way he knows how to handle Pickens issues. What poor judgment he has I guess you can’t fix stupid.

 

Conversations means, Pickens was not given the chance to even test the Hamstring this morning before Tomlin sat him down.

You had to see those smartass interviews Pickens was giving this week. Tomlin had to do something to stop Pickens from being a major problem in the locker-room and on the field.

 

Which part tells you that?
