Pick your opponent!

Okay, so the Southern Professional Hockey League is trying a new playoff system. They are letting the top three seeds pick their first round opponent from the bottom four seeds (fourth seed gets whoever is left).

I absolutely LOVE this. I'd love to see the NHL adopt it.

But I'd also love to see the NFL do it as well. Nothing would make me happier than getting to call out a team in the playoffs or get called out and beat them.

I think it would even draw more interest in games you wouldn't normally watch.

Think of how many times we've heard players say, "No one wants to see us in the playoffs."
