I know I'm late to the party, but I just don't understand some people on this board. Why is it that some of you want to pick up every scrub that gets cut by another team and then what? Mother hen them into great players? Haskins is a bum, the WFT should have never drafted him where they did and they cut their losses. Haskins isn't even as good as RGIII, and RGIII was terrible.

Haskins will land somewhere in the very short term, but that team will figure out what the WFT figured, Haskins is a bum and cut him from the league.

There is infinite faith amount the fan base that ‘The Steeler Way’ will turn the misused, miscoached and over drafted into great players for the B&G. The paradox of this is that the same fan base thinks this will be accomplished by coaches that are morons that should be fired at seasons end.

Haskins is coming in for a visit today, according to Ian Rapoport.

He had a bad half against IU, and one against NW when hurt. He's going to be a star in the NFL, and if he somehow falls to 1.24 the Steelers would be stupid not to take him. He can make every throw, on and off platform, and is a smart runner.

Haskins, on the other hand, is a statue in the pocket and can only throw if everything else works and he can stay on platform.

I’m admittedly a bit biased as an OSU fan, but, I don’t hate this idea. As good as Justin Fields has been for the Buckeyes over the past 2 years, Haskins was statistically better. For those who say that OSU has a non-pro friendly offensive system, that’s changed a bit since Ryan Day came on board in 2017. Haskins was as close to a pure pocket passer as they’ve had there in ages. IMO, he’s got WAY more upside than Rudolph and Dobbs, as well as Kyle Trask, Mac Jones or any QB we’d be in position to draft. It won’t take too much to sign him, and, if the kid actually takes things seriously, you have your next franchise QB. If not, oh well.

That’s the big question mark, apparently he does the bare minimum.

I have no problem with this, Tomlins strong suit is players like to play for him, maybe he gets through to this kid.

All upside move with no downside.

The OC gone so yep he coming I would say .. Low Risk High Reward ....If he gets his head right he can play it's not his physical skills so that is already better than Ben as he doesnt have the skill anymore...

He's talented and the Steelers don't seem to put up with BS anymore. Let's try it.

Can't see him being much more than a 3rd stringer or a backup that "competes" with Rudulph to help push him. Definitely an upgrade over Dobbs.
