Why not? If you have to ask this question you shouldn't be posting here. I mean literally you should not be posting THIS here.

I was thinking the same thing when the subject of the Jets taking Justin Fields with the second overall pick in the draft. OSU QB's never pan out in the NFL. That being said, I would still take Fields if I were the Jets.

Looks like I was very wrong in my Haskins assessment. None of these Ohio St QBs make it at the NFL level. Teams should be wary of Justin Fields in this year's draft.

Nobody is going to pick Haskins up off waivers but somebody will sign him as a #3. He was ok in a losing effort vs Baltimore this year.in time he may become a .500 backup but that's his ceiling. Because of the off the field issues I would stay away.

I'd rather see them go after Tyrod Taylor if he can be had. He's a rather expensive backup...if the puncturing if his lung is not a career ending injury they should definitely look into it.

I want no part of Haskins, but I thought the responses would be entertaining. I was right.

Similar to Lynch, Haskins can't (or won't) comprehend a playbook. Even if he could, he's mediocre at best.

Every time I watch Tyrod play, he does one thing that's sensational and one thing that's really dumb. Everything in between is pretty average. As a backup, he'd probably be okay.

Just popped in to see what kind of BS let's sign Haskins nonsense was going on here.

All I can say is, hell to the no. This guy is an overrated QB to start with and he is a selfish whiner POS to boot. Hard pass on this guy.

Mediocre is still better than what we saw from Mason Rudolph last season and he had a full year to learn the playbook prior to starting.
