As I stated before and will again, more than likely, Phillip Rivers is a HOF Player. That said, he will be waiting A VERY LONG TIME thanks in part to not just the era in which he played but also the players who will likely still be on the ballot or are already on the ballot when his time comes. Even when his name appears in 2026, whos to say there will be another hold over that should get in?!

He wants that cash man can you blame him. He knows he can sit in SG all game throw two yard outs and slants and rarely get hit.

Reminds me of footage from Bill Parcels. STs coach or trainer comes up to him and says the kicker is feeling ill and won’t be able to play. Parcels says, “I don’t need him to play, I just need him to kick”

Hate to admit it but you are right about Ben being our best shot. He is going to need a ton of help though.

One name, Tom Brady. 199th overall pick in the 6th round. Could lightning strike twice and the Steelers find a superstar QB in the later round??? A guy can hope.

In this day and age idk if you're going to find players who dedicate their lives to football to the extent that Brady does. As much as I hate him, one of the big reasons he's so good is he never slacks off. He completely tailors his way of life around it. I have no idea how he stays on that diet. To me that's self torture.

As much as I hate the guy he gives 110% all the time even in the offseason. With that Said. Please Packers beat him so I don't have to watch him win another Super Bowl.:beg:

Sorry. Cap Hit. $19,000,000 he gets either way. The Steelers FO is still going to want a ROI on that signature.

    Other way around:
    He’s getting $22.25MM either way.
Another $15MM if on our roster as of 20 MAR 2021.
And $4MM in salary for the season.

But yeah, I’d want my $19 million’s worth out of him.

It's was time for Rivers to retire and, you know, start a family.
