I certainly would hope they bring in somebody with different offensive
    Strategies. I'm doubting it.

i believe they took the hots away to simplify the offense for KP later in the year. that's what i got from it. muth didn't say they never had hot routes. this season while pickett will have all the snaps in camp with these receivers, they should get comfy enough to add these back into the mix. the little wink and nod to the receiver. the whole offense should expand some. i just think it's getting him to a certain comfort level before adding more. baby steps. it's also not just about KP either. these young receivers and KP getting on the same page against defensive looks.

Looks like the Chiefs are getting close for Pep Hamilton to replace Bieniemy.

Doesn't matter who the OC is as long as Andy is there.

They already promoted Nagy to offensive coordinator.

The Chiefs are a smart organization. Even though they just won the Super Bowl they are looking for ways to add talented offensive minds to their current staff. I wonder if the Steelers reached out to Hamilton at all? I just don’t understand why the status quo is acceptable on the offensive coaching staff.

You need more than coaching. Our highest paid players are on defense, is that how KC won the super bowl twice in the last few years? Now everybody wants a defensive draft. You have to score points. You can't just hope to keep NFL offenses from outscoring you.
