I signed up for ESPN+ so I can watch the Pens game now with the feed from Pittsburgh and they had a commercial on for some kind of Young Bucs promo show where they were talking to young guys down at spring training and several expressed the excitement of trying to build something with the Pirates. All I could think was oh how precious young ballplayers with hopes and dreams before the reality of Pirates baseball sucks their souls away and leaves a bitter husk that disparately wants traded to the Yankee's or Sox

Was that the 5 O.T. loss that ended about 2 am? If it was then it would be hard to explain that game to the wife.

The first time I took my son to a Hershey bears game we both barely understood the game itself, but watching the skill these guys have, then actually seeing a play develop and then the score was magic. You just can't feel the energy of hockey on a TV screen.
