Pearcy Harvin was a pretty good draft pick by the Vikings.

But actually this year Presley Harvin III has improved in my book this year from last year.

 

LOL I literally call him Percy ALL the time so this made me laugh.

 

For me, I don't need an article to know what he is saying is pretty accurate. The problem with our punter is he can blast a punt 65 yards plus on one play and shank 29 yarders the next lowering his yrd per kick big time. All the BS about flipping the field hasn't been heard of late. Inconsistency is his problem. Why did we change punters in the first place? JMO>

 

You know the Steelers stink when threads are being created about the punter.

 

Because um wants to be the smartest in the room.

 

Harvin is good for 1 60 yard punt a game. The problem is his two 25 yard punts a game.

I don’t care what anyone says, Presley Harvin III is a far better punter than Percy Harvin. But he couldn’t beat Percy in a 100m dash, even if you spotted him 20 meters.

in fairness to Pressly, that stadium in Buffalo is a tough place to punt. Swirling winds, hard off the lake. It’s not unusual for punters to boom them with the wind in one quarter, and have short punts the next.

Example: punt distances from last week, see if you can guess when the wind was in the punters side:

Q1: Pittsburgh: 1 punt 69 yds. Bills: none
Q2: Pittsburgh: 2 punts, 26 and 34 yds. Bills: none

Harvin hasn’t been the most consistent guy in the league, but I’m not sure I’d damn him for last week.

 

As good ol Mikey T would say you'd have to look at his whole body of work and while its quite the body the work that body does blows. I'd like to not even know the name of a punter.

 

LOL. Presley (Pearcy) Harvin is the least of this teams problems.

 

It's all cumulative though. He needs to get better, or he needs to go.

I said it before. This guy's legs are bigger then most of the punters body's in the league. But, they are boomin punts, and Harvin is barely kicking 35yds.
