Payton Wilson doing his part

This video showed up in my YT feed.
Guy examines a few plays with a focus on Payton Wilson.
Most of them seem like 2-3 yard nothing plays, or someone else on the defense makes the splash, but the author (Saturday Morning Inspection) points out how Wilson is making the right decisions and actions to prevent the offense from getting anything more than that.

 

Not surprised personally.


Outside of Mason McCormick, I dunno if there is a bigger steal than Payton Wilson. Well.... technically speaking, Cooper DeJean would classify as one. However, I had a top 10 grade on him the entire 2024 Draft Cycle. What he is doing now doesn't surprise me in the least.


Getting back to Wilson, I am now all but certain that, like T.J. Watt, will have some words for Cleveland tomorrow. The team claims this isn't a "get back game but a get right" one. However, no way is vindication removed from the mind of the team; particularly Wilson. He did have a very good game against Cleveland but I'd imagine that he will want to have one for the books.

 

If he can stay healthy, his potential is off the charts. Football IQ is really high.

 

Another good draft pick for Khan but unfortunately some will always complain when there is a mistake (which happens to every GM) or they don't agree with the pick

No matter what, on draft day, Khan is way more good than bad, it's disappointing to see some complaints when he is not perfect on a draft pick, even if no GM is
