Pay Attention NFL this is how you conduct fines and suspensions

    A couple of us have mentioned before that we wished that the NFL would follow the NHL's example when dealing with player discipline. This video was released yesterday for an illegal hit that happened over the weekend. Swift, to the point and no grey areas.



    I think this would clear up many of the issues that Goodell and his offices have in terms of fines and suspensions.

    I say the only way fines will ever work in the NFL is to make them proportionate to the player's salary. You don't hurt a millionaire by charging him thousands. You hurt him by charging him millions.

    Department of player safety vice a unilateral decision with no real basis or consistency. Novel concept.
