I'm right there with you. I believe the Steelers took Plaxico in that draft, and I wanted them to take Chad Pennington in the 1st because Danny Farmer would be available later. Based on what I saw of Farmer at UCLA, I really believed he was going to be a terrific WR. Just goes to show what the eff I know.

They took a gamble...they didnt have much cap room...and probably didnt think there would be a huge amount of interested...and now they're stuck with a decision. Had they put say a 1st/2nd round tender on him...people would be *****ing that they tendered him too high...just like some are now that they did it too low. Very rarely do teams tender many players higher than their original round...it happens (like Hoyer in AZ this year)...but not very often...unless that player turns into a stud (Victor Cruz?).

Why is it a forgone conclusion Steelers couldn't resign him if they in a years time if they match the offer....clearing out some of these veteran contracts a lot more money should be free'd up right?

Wow, Browns comments are cryptic for sure.

Coming out of college I would have said Sanders was the one who had the most sense of professionalism about him, and he already ran great routes better than some pros. I can only knock Sanders on not being healthy?

Any of you Pittsburgher's see him at the night clubs getting sloppy or something?

They matched the ****ing offer what the hell are they thinking. This is pure **** plus you know thereis going to be a rift between Sanders and brown after some of Brown's comments. Such a waste of money and opportunity.

Goodwin is more a track guy than football player he's fast but not much production, he's also small like Brown and Sanders.
