Patriots lose LeGarrette Blount for season

The injury-prone Patriots have suffered another significant loss.

LeGarrette Blount, the Patriots’ starting running back, is out for the season with a hip injury, according to WEEI.

Normally not one to rejoice over injuries but all I can say is

 

Good!

 

Great. Hope they lose another one or two of their more important players.

 

Personally I would have preferred for him to walk out on them, but this will suffice.

 

I would be surprised if he did because they are basically his meal ticket. He had to clear waivers to go back and the fact that 30 other teams passed on him really says something because he had honestly played good for us when he had been on the field. He's just a scumbag though. I won't be surprised if they wind up cutting him anyway though. Bill has no loyalty or sentiment and if he feels Dion Lewis can do at least as much and a little bit more than Blount then he will be gone next year. Their turnover rate at rb has been incredible over the years. I will laugh so hard if they outright cut him because of this.
