As of my posting this, we've looked good against the Eagles...and that means nothing.

When was the last time that we embarrassed a good quarterback, like New England used to do to Peyton Manning? (Yes, it helps to know what plays they're calling, but LeBeau should be able to figure that out.) I've got 2010 against Atlanta in Week 1. We held them to 9 points, and Matt Ryan's rating was 67.6. Before that, I've got the 2008 game against Dallas. (Yes, Tony Romo is pretty good, and for those of you who think that he makes mistakes too often to be considered good, look at the Week 1 and Week 15 games from last year...number 7 didn't look so good.)

A good QB is hard to embarrass. We did very well against NE last year

Last time I saw a defense just lock down a pass game was back in 2004.... Eagles Panthers NFC Championship... Not sure how many remember that one, but the DB's just came in and murdered every receiver by jamming them bigtime.

That was pre all the friggin rules changes... the new rules let these QB's play with out getting their jersey dirty.

We didn't do that well against Brady. Our offense just kept the ball away from him. He was pretty good when he had the chance.

And if a good QB is so hard to embarrass, why does it happen to Ben several times every season? I get that our defense doesn't believe in interceptions, but come on!

(I think my point is that Denver would be a great place to have one of those lock-down-the-offense games.)

I know what you are saying, but I can't justify putting all of that on Ben either though.

Of course...and it's not just on the DBs to cover. We can't get rushed throws that go for picks like teams do against us??? (I put that mostly on the CBs, actually.)
