I took the wife to the Cleveland game and decided to take my son to the Panthers game since it was so close. We had been to Panther games but never real early.

I didn't know they would let you go down in the lower section before the game to watch them practice but they will. Brett Keisel is a truly a great guy. He made a point to walk the end zone and speak to the fans as part of his warm up Im assuming. Got a nice close up pic but I missed out on a high five he gave to a few fans.

The Panther fans are usually really quiet or really talking smack. Last night, they were talking smack, all in good fun though. It was tough the 1st half and I got some strange looks as I yelled at the Steelers "YOU CANT WIN FOOTBALL GAMES KICKING FIELD GOALS!" They gave away 'white towels' as you got a program and the place looked white, for now. ;)

But the 2nd half, ole my goodness. The Steelers came alive and so did Steeler nation. The smack talking stopped...NOT. I didn't forget the 1st half and neither did the rest of the Steeler fans. At first it was just a low chant, then it got louder, and louder and then it was clear....HERE WE STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!! I felt like I was in the burgh. :herewego!:

I got home at 3am, had to be at work by 8 am, I was tired as heck and I could hardly talk from all the yelling. But it was a great time.

You represented the nation well. Great work. You could hear it on TV.

Glad you had fun. In case you didn't know you can always walk down there and watch them at any game. You just have to leave when people start wanting to take their seats. Last year in Cincy my seats were 7 rows up and I got down there early and stood on the front row and watched them warm up forever. It was really fun and I always enjoy doing it. I stood like 10ft from the Rooney's. They were meeting with people and seemed really gracious. I yelled at AB and he just looked at me and smiled. We then went on to have a HORRIBLE game! So from now on during warm ups I'm going to just keep my mouth shut. LOL!
