Here is the link below. According to Forbes. Takes into account hometown crowd reach, social media reach based on the area's population and three years' worth of Nielsen television ratings, stadium capacity percentage and merchandise sales via NFLShop.com.

I am pretty shocked the Steelers didn't even finish in the Top 5. Living around Washington DC, I can attest that I see far more Steelers garb than Ravens, I would venture to guess it is 3 or 4 PGH to every BAL item. Maryland it is a different story, but you would expect that since that is the home state. So I cry foul.

Also - everybody knows Denver is on top because of Peyton Manning. No Manning, no major sales of jerseys etc. Denver being #2 is more to do with Manning as many people are fans of him or choose his jersey for their kid because he is the biggest name in the game. I can buy the Cowboys, Saints because they represent the whole Gulf Coast region, and I must admit with the success of the Patriots that area has transformed into being football fans. 10 years ago I felt that if you met a Patriot fan, they would want to talk about the Pats for 2 minutes and then talk Red Sox for the next hour, but I think that has changed and I do see a lot more people with Patriots gear.

I could have sworn I just saw a report a few weeks ago that the steelers had the most followers as any other nfl team when it came to social media. Could be wrong though. I always take these surveys with a grain of salt. This guy could do this research again and come up with different results. Obviously he didn't poll everyone everywhere, he's just going off some formula. We all know where the best fans reside and that's on this board and all of steeler nation!

I know I'm always impressed by how Packers fans take over opposing teams' stadiums.

    Oh. Wait...

The Steelers are the only team who's fans consistently do that. :)

Pat fans will go back under their rocks when Brady retires. They are all bandwagoners and it's a joke to not recognize that.
